Set sail with Full Tide Ocean Safaris, a family-run business nestled on Deer Island, just a short, free 20-minute ferry ride from L’Etete, New Brunswick. We’re conveniently closer to the whale feeding grounds than most operators—boosting your chances of spotting majestic marine giants.
Our departures run daily at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. from early July to early October, offering 2½ to 3-hour cruises that visit the spectacular West Isles.
On board our authentic lobster-fishing vessel, with a small capacity of just 12 guests, you’ll enjoy a relaxed, personalised experience. Expect wonderful wildlife encounters—from minke, finback, and humpback whales, to porpoises, harbour seals, bald eagles, and numerous seabirds. If you’re lucky, you might even spot the occasional shark.
